Sea MiniPOP

Sea MiniPOP

The Sea MiniPOP represents an 8-inch payload tailored for day and night observation systems, specifically engineered for maritime applications. This system is meticulously crafted to withstand challenging environmental conditions, including shock, wave-induced vibrations, and extreme temperatures. Offering real-time imaging, automatic video tracking, and precise target geo- location capabilities, the Sea MiniPOP serves as an autonomous Electro- Optical/Infrared (EO/IR) observation system on small to medium-sized vessels or integrates seamlessly into Naval Remote Controlled Weapon Stations (RCWS).

Constructed as a dual-axis, gyro-stabilized payload, the Sea MiniPOP functions as a singular Line Replaceable Unit (LRU), accommodating up to four sensors within an open architecture design. The foundational setup comprises a continuous zoom color day camera and a thermal imaging camera. Additionally, for heightened capabilities and functionality, the payload can be enhanced with a laser pointer, eye-safe laser range finder, and an automatic tracker.
